NPO vs NPO evo aero

Most chassis’s have been converted already. Elan chassis’s (the original NP01) can get the aero bits and the updated engine, but the frame was also updated when Sebeco took over. The biggest difference is the dash bar was raised to give a little more clearance for taller drivers. You can tell an Elan chassis from a Sebeco based in the VIN plate, which has the logo, as well as the color. Sebeco’s are black and Elan’s are grey. There are a couple of exceptions, but this is the general rule.
 
Can anyone tell me what AIM bits came with the 1st gen NP01. I am looking to by chassis #3 and it's partially disassembled. I figured it would be easier to ask here. And secondly what installed with the factory EVO?
 
The current AIM dash that comes with the car is the MXS. I am not sure what everyone used early on. There are several items I would recommend updating if the car is already partially disassembled including:
  • Billet uprights
  • Tilton master cylinders
  • Endurance rocker arms and studs
  • Battery relocation kit
  • Upgraded rod ends
  • SHR throttle body
  • Haltech ECU
  • Double check dates on your fire bottle, belts, window nets, and fuel cell
If you plan on doing wheel-to-wheel racing with the car, there are some other upgrades to the car as well that you may want to consider.

Is there a reason a formula wheel with integrated display wasn't chosen? I am thinking something to do with keeping eyes up at much as possible. I have a new aim sw4 and figuring out if i go with the max or sw4. thoughts ?

We have explored the AIM SW4 in the car - one owner actually has one installed in his car post-purchase. The only issue from a mass production standpoint is the size of the wheel makes it difficult to get in and out of the car.
